A great way to publicize your athletic department and sports organization is to take advantage of large-scale printing. In six years of affiliation with McMurry University in the sports information office and marketing department, I was able to design and execute several solutions for the school to enhance visual appeal and attract students, alumni, fans and recruits. There is no limit to size; we created one banner with the McMurry athletics banner to face the football field and track that was 48 feet wide. It made a statement. And let’s be honest, some of our buildings that we operate from are old, faded and not very attractive. What better way to hide it than to slap graphic art over it?
